I think the Trump campaign is smart to have him hold off from rallies/events the next few weeks. He does best when people don't have to listen to the dumb shit he says. Get the media to focus a bit on Harris and put the pressure on her to do some interviews and press conferences.Comment

Many months ago when it became apparent that the presidential race this year would be a repeat (..... or maybe not...) I decided that I would firmly commit not giving a shit about outcomes and instead focus on the shear entertainment value that this real-time debacle had to offer. I can say that since abdicating my authentic concern for my nation, this has been the most fun I have ever had with politics. Both sides of this are spewing entertainment gold. Seeing talking heads on the left and the right meltdown anytime their candidate makes a perceived gaff or practically climax when it is the opposition candidate is so amazing. Gotta say, this has been an amazing election cycle!! The only downside is that regardless of the outcome, apparently, the world will probably end, based on the opinions of the losing party.Comment

Elon is playing the victim here. He hasn't been a paragon of free speech. He has put his needle in favor of what he views as useful. He has banned or maintained bans of left wing types while letting legit Neo Nazis out of twitter exile.
He amplified harmful rhetoric that enflamed those race riots in the UK. All, and after posting doctored Kamala Harris clips without disclaimer and interfering with a fundraising even on twitter on her behalf.
He can say what he wants but the EU will react how it will. I don't think he is being heroic. He isn't being persecuted for a political viewpoint.
