Maybe Hunter is under the impression that he can't be pardoned by the "big guy" until after all his convictions/sentencings happen. Of course, pardoning Hunter now would look bad look for the election.

President Joe Biden told Democratic governors during a meeting at the White House on Wednesday that part of his plan going forward is to stop scheduling events after 8 p.m. so that he can get more sleep, according to three sources briefed on his comments.
At least three people in the democratic party are actively trying to push Biden out so we can save our democracy.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

If this is true (could be an anti-Biden plant but I'll trust and wait to verify), it is becoming an insurmountable problem for Biden. The perception of his cognitive decline is rapidly solidifying. More and more media attention will be paid towards it. He has to fight that, as well as making the righteous arguments against Trump. And do all that, in the context of worsening poll numbers. I don't see him being able to do it.

Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

The continued gaslighting from democratic leadership is astounding.

And who on earth thinks this is a solution?

Why do you think Trump calls him Sleepy Joe? And he nearly fell asleep during the debate.

The cover of The Economist this week...

                    Why Biden must withdraw
The president and his party portray themselves as the saviours of democracy. Their actions say otherwise

The presidential debate was awful for Joe Biden, but the cover-up has been worse. It was agony to watch a befuddled old man struggling to recall words and facts. His inability to land an argument against a weak opponent was dispiriting. But the operation by his campaign to deny what tens of millions of Americans saw with their own eyes is more toxic than either, because its dishonesty provokes contempt.

The effect has been to put the White House within Donald Trump’s grasp. Fresh polls have found that voters in the states Mr Biden must win have moved against him. His lead may be in danger even in once-safe states such as Virginia, Minnesota and New Mexico.

This has to be an orchestrated effort to get him to drop out and be replaced, right? I mean, this isn't Alex Jones or Ted Cruz saying this stuff. This is the top podcaster at the NYT and the lead story on CNN. My bet is that people have tried to get him to drop out and Biden isn't having any of it so they are on to plan B, which is attack him through the media and the media is complicit in the attacks.

At some point I"m going to have to backpedal on my "I'll vote for Biden no matter what" and pick a third party candidate. Of course, my vote won't matter anyway since Trump will take Texas by double digits.

So you might as well join me in voting for a 3rd party candidate and make your matter as a protest vote.

There is clearly frustration among the ranks, and it's harder to contain, but both NYT and CNN are better media outlets than Fox News and are willing to break stories that pain Biden in a negative light.

You mean after their complete failure for not investigating and telling the truth about Biden‘s mental condition? Journalistic malpractice. At least the WSJ dug into it.

They are not the equivalent of Fox or OAN. It's not close.
