LOL at Musk being anything near a truth bearer.

No idea if his platform will turn out be profitable, much less make him a billion. I'll just say that there are much better pro-choice arguments than 'Trump will bad abortion nationwide'. If this is going to be their campaign, they are pretty desperate already.

Don Jr. is the bravest man Trump knows. He knows no fear! Or has no brain, I can't remember which. Either way, nice flip flops.

So much craziness right now on the left. If you really believe DJT can't be allowed to win, give us a candidate that is not brain-dead who can beat him.

                • David Plouffe is correct when he says the Dems can't gaslight the public about Joe Biden after that debate. What everyone saw during that debate wasn't an isolated thing, anyone looking at this objectively knows Biden is declining. They're not going to be able memory hole what everyone has seen repeatedly. I also think about this way -- what's so important about Joe Biden, particularly the Joe Biden we saw last Thursday, that he absolutely needs to remain the President when he clearly has severely diminished? Right now, it's not even in the Democrats' best interest to keep him but it's really not in the country's best interest that he stays in office. And whether he stays in office is a whole other question aside from whether he should be on the ticket. It's categorically insane that anyone thinks it's appropriate for a man in his condition to run to stay in office until 2029.

Over the next few weeks you're going to see who you can trust from the establishment media vs who merely parrots their marching orders from the Biden administration/DNC. Many/most are saying he needs to at least step aside in the campaign, we'll see how long that lasts.

I'll tell you what conservatives are saying on Twitter -- they're all hoping he stays on. All they care about is winning the election and Biden sticking around only helps Trump.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                  • Y'all need to stop with this crazy talk about replacing Biden with a new candidate to beat Trump. Grandpa Joe is your man and the DNC is going to put an end to replacing him by formally nominating him in the next few weeks...

                      Noah Rothman:

To call it “damage control” cheapens the multidirectional disaster-mitigation campaign in which Biden’s team is now engaged. The president’s camp is throwing haymakers at anyone on their side who is imprudent enough to be honest about the president’s condition and his dimming political prospects in November. But for all their denunciations of the “bedwetters” in their midst, the last 72 hours cannot be undone. Even if Democrats manage to rationalize themselves into accepting Biden’s renomination to the White House, the incumbent has been done in by his allies’ candor.

                      ...

It’s not hard to imagine the conditions that might prevail in the fall that would compel the pundits, editorial boards, and weak-kneed politicians to take it all back. With sorrow and disappointment, they will attempt to rally the troops against a man they will insist Americans cannot trust with the presidency. But they will be making that case in service to a figure they have already implied cannot be trusted to operate heavy machinery, much less serve in the Oval Office. Do they expect that their own verdicts will be stricken from the record, that Republicans will not throw their own words back in their faces?

The calls for Biden to surrender his party’s nomination clearly signal that he cannot serve in the presidency for another four years; taken to their logical conclusion, they also mean that the president cannot serve out the six months left in his first term. Republican politicians and ad-makers will not let the voting public forget it.

The Democrats are right to fear the chaos that would be unleashed if Biden were to abandon his party to its fate at this late date. The most likely result would be to convince persuadable voters that the president’s party is too disorderly to be rewarded with power. But Democrats delude themselves if they think that voters are not already witnessing a party in crisis.

                      • Michigan for Trump?

Or is does Gretchen Whitmer want to be the one to replace Grandpa Joe? If you ask her now she will deny it...

                          • The potential candidates the Republicans fear (or should) aren't Gavin Newsome or Kamala. Gretchen Whitmer and Josh Shapiro are different stories.

That said, I don't know what campaign finance laws allow for transferring the money the Biden campaign has on hand to another candidate. It's ridiculous the Democrats didn't try to deal with this back in December or January.

Depending on who that President is, I'd feel similarly.
