We jumped into our carts and rushed down to help the guy. His playing partner was there and the guy was knocked out stone cold. We offered to call an ambulance, but the guy woke up and said he was all right, and that he wanted to finish his round, as he was playing his best round in years.

My son was so distraught he quit and just tagged along. To our surprise the guy kept going, with a bump the size of two golf balls on top. We all finished, and at the end the guy started flexing saying he wanted our personal info because in intended to sue. I told him my son is 18 - has no insurance - no assets - and that when you step onto a golf course, you assume liability for being in a place where objects are flying in the air. It was an accident, there was no intention of hitting you, we're sorry that it happened but that's the end of it. And it was.
I believe everything except the 6'5 320 of pure muscle. NFL players that are 6'5 320 are not pure muscle. Also if he was 6'5 320 of pure muscle at 18 is he playing college football somewhere?

Wait, what's the difference between fat and muscle? I forget.

Dirty laundry time. My son had "issues" in high school and did not graduate. He took his GED and passed in the 98th percentile. As a Sophomore he was on the radar of BYU, Oregon, and Oregon State. Before his senior year he went to the Oregon State summer football camp, and was the outstanding lineman. He also won the sumo contest, and the strongest man competition. Coach Lacey of Oregon State said he's the strongest 17 year old he had ever seen in 20 years of football coaching. They said he had NFL potential.

He's now living with his brother in Provo, working at a pizza place, and playing video games. I love him for who he is, and am saddened by what he does.

Ok that makes more sense. I love pizza and video games I bet I would get along great with your son.

          • I took a long lunch and was able to sneak 9 holes in. I actually hit a couple good drives today and my bad ones were all in the first cut instead of in the rough. I'm still struggling finding the greens with my irons. I seems to be barely off the green on most holes, but am making much better contact. I feel like I'm close to putting together a good round. Thankfully I have been chipping and putting relatively well.

Is that the free GolfShot app or the $30 one? TIA.

Do you a player review yet on your CG-7's? I'm kind of anxious to hear.

The $30 version. In my opinion it has been well worth the cost.

I'm loving the 7-PW. I hit them him and generally soft. I'm struggling with 4-6, but that is more a product of my swing than the clubs. I'm getting more distance and spin on the ball than my old pings. So far they have been a good investment. Now the Diablo on the other hand, I'm thinking I may have jumped the gun on, especially that I went with the draw version. I'm going to give it another month and if I'm still struggling like I am now then I will be back in the driver market...again.

Since I'm interested in the draw version of the FT-9 what specific problems are you having? Hitting right?

It seems I'm either hitting weak fades or strong pulls left. I know most of it is a result of my horrific natural outside-in swing path. However the draw club seems to exacerbate the problem.

EDIT: The website I linked to appears to be a scam selling Chinese knockoffs. My bad.

Cry me a river with your scores in the low 80s and 14 greens in regulation. Must suck to have such a bad swing. I still hate you.

Hey Husky.... some people were blessed with good looks, and not golf swings. Count your blessings.
