Dirty laundry time. My son had "issues" in high school and did not graduate. He took his GED and passed in the 98th percentile. As a Sophomore he was on the radar of BYU, Oregon, and Oregon State. Before his senior year he went to the Oregon State summer football camp, and was the outstanding lineman. He also won the sumo contest, and the strongest man competition. Coach Lacey of Oregon State said he's the strongest 17 year old he had ever seen in 20 years of football coaching. They said he had NFL potential.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostI believe everything except the 6'5 320 of pure muscle. NFL players that are 6'5 320 are not pure muscle. He's now living with his brother in Provo, working at a pizza place, and playing video games. I love him for who he is, and am saddened by what he does.Last edited by clackamascoug; 04-20-2010, 02:01 PM.

I took a long lunch and was able to sneak 9 holes in. I actually hit a couple good drives today and my bad ones were all in the first cut instead of in the rough. I'm still struggling finding the greens with my irons. I seems to be barely off the green on most holes, but am making much better contact. I feel like I'm close to putting together a good round. Thankfully I have been chipping and putting relatively well.

Do you a player review yet on your CG-7's? I'm kind of anxious to hear.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostI took a long lunch and was able to sneak 9 holes in. The $30 version. In my opinion it has been well worth the cost.Originally posted by Lost_Student View PostIs that the free GolfShot app or the $30 one? TIA.
I'm loving the 7-PW. I hit them him and generally soft. I'm struggling with 4-6, but that is more a product of my swing than the clubs. I'm getting more distance and spin on the ball than my old pings. So far they have been a good investment. Now the Diablo on the other hand, I'm thinking I may have jumped the gun on, especially that I went with the draw version. I'm going to give it another month and if I'm still struggling like I am now then I will be back in the driver market...again.Originally posted by clackamascoug View PostDo you a player review yet on your CG-7's? Since I'm interested in the draw version of the FT-9 what specific problems are you having? Hitting right?Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostThe $30 version. In my opinion it has been well worth the cost.

It seems I'm either hitting weak fades or strong pulls left. Cry me a river with your scores in the low 80s and 14 greens in regulation. Must suck to have such a bad swing. I still hate you.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostIt seems I'm either hitting weak fades or strong pulls left. I know most of it is a result of myhorrificnatural outside-in swing path.
