Three day Super Senior tournament started yesterday. Gross not net and stroke not match. Only 8 entries. I thought I had a real shot because an ex BYU golfer always plays in the Senior event. Last minute he switches to the Super Senior event.

I shot an 82 and I am in third place, 11 shots behind the leader. Oh well I think I will have an injury after today and play with my buddies tomorrow.

Exactly. I was in first place net, but who cares about net. I withdrew so I could play for real money with my friends on Saturday.

What's real money? I always want to play for money but I don't have anyone that will, except one guy at my club who everyone despises and is awful to play with.

The way that sounded, I can see why someone would despise someone so arrogant. Didn't mean it that way. The net winner gets $50 bucks in gift money. So I meant cash vs gift certificate.

We have a group of about 40 or so and we play Wed, Fri and Saturdays. We have anywhere from 16 to 28 that will show up each day. We play a four man team format selected randomly. On a really bad day you can lose up to $150 or win that is on a really good team. I have kept track for many years each year and at the end of the year you come out about even.

We have side individual and two man best ball games. Those are a 5-10-5 Nassau. You don't have to play in the side games.

I am sure there are people who despise us and think we are awful to play with.

It was cool but anticlimactic. I didn't feel like I did anything special. It was just a nice easy round.

After a front side 37 and a sand save on 10 you must have known it was your day. 14 putts on the back with a 3 jab is pretty remarkable.

It was fun. Flat stick has been doing work for me lately.

Shot of the day was holing out from 55 yds on hole 3. Hardest hole on the course. I hit a 56° that one hopped right into the cup.
