We had great inspiring meeting today as well. My nefew reported back after his mission to Stockholm, Sweden. What a tremendous young man! He's a giant among men, and I want to be a better person because of my association with him. The theme of the meeting seemed to be developing a personal ministry. A young man - who was just baptized a couple of months ago and is a new deacon - spoke in Sacrament Meeting about the Holy Ghost. In his game Saturday the Holy Ghost helped him fight through 3 blockers and jump on the football when the other teams QB fumbled it. "The Holy Ghost kept the other team from scoring." (Direct quote.)
Our Stake President was on the stand for the meeting, and took a couple of minutes at the end of the meeting. He thanked this YM for reminding us that we can use the Holy Ghost in all aspects of our life.
Confirmation from the Stake President means it MUST be true!Comment
