Our stake is in continued lockdown. No one is allow to enter the building without a security guard giving clearance and unlocking the door with an electronic device. This will continue until further notice. We are also encouraged to have presidency and other organizational meetings in members homes.

I stood guard with Guard #2 during the last half of Sacrament Meeting today. We were facing south, the sun was shining bright, and we had a nice conversation about the recent exploits of his youtube sensation son. October can be very nice in Oregon.

I learned that there's nothing quite as sweet as watching all your kids, including the Nursery-aged one, up on the stand participating in the Primary program. Not sure if this was just our ward or something new in the program for this year, but they had all the nursery kids come up to the deacon rows, where they sat with their teachers and got to play with a stuffed lamb. Then, when the other kids sang a song about a lamb, all the little nursery kids made their way to the front of the stand and proudly held up their little stuffed lambs. Freaking cute.
