Today I learned that the Adult Session of next week's Stake Conference is by far the most important meeting of the conference. So important that all the youth are invited to attend and there will be buildings set up for parent's of young children to attend with free babysitting. The topic is given by the First Presidency instead of the Stake.
The last time something was this hyped it ended up being that underwhelming church announcement that missionaries could now start using Facebook. After all the hype that was probably the most disappointing moment in my church life. People kept building it up to be historic! So pardon me if I'm not buying it again any time soon. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...
Anyone have a recent Stake conference who can shed some light on what the topic will be for our adult session of Stake Conference? I'm going to go no matter what, but I would like to set the proper level of expectation.Comment
