I still have mine, but since the Wii U is backwards compatible, I admit I haven't fired it up in a while.

no Mario 2 stuff. Probably a lot of reasons for that- chief amongst them being that it's a really weird game that doesn't go with the rest of the marios. I mean- it literally was lifted from a completely different game in Japan with Mario and Friends superimposed over the top. They do have a ton of extras and surprises not contemplated in earlier editions, though-- e.g. A goomba suit power up, a skinny mario power up, a Mega Man power up, etc. Also another cool feature is that you can construct your Super Mario Bros. level and hit a toggle button and it switches it to SMB Wii style graphics. It's pretty wild.

lol. I loved it too. My dad had a pretty good poker face that the game was sold out everywhere until I opened that on Christmas.

I wouldn't mind making some crazy levels w that game. Like a sand jar w a Bomber Mouse at the bottom, then you have to retrieve a key and get it out of the jar w a phantom mask chasing you all the way! :rockon1:

My Mom worked at Sears and was able to score of copy of the game for Christmas. This was back in the days when Nintendo would restrict supply and big releases were tough to get. I remember finding it before Christmas. My parents sucked at hiding Christmas presents.

the good news is it should be pretty easy to bring back ncaa when it happens. the hard work (the physics engine) should be the same as madden.

I'm pretty sure it's on its way back wit the Ed O'Bannon stuff coming to an end- it will allow the NCAA to compensate individual players a nominal amount for use of likeness. EA could cover this up front w the billions of $ it makes on those titles.

Still held up in court. Some dumb aggie (Nate Harris) won't accept the settlement and wants more money.
