Btw- i just tried Farcry4 on the xbone. It's classified as a FPS but it's really different and cool. I may just play all the way through if I get a chance.

So I got caught up playing Far Cry 4 for about 5 hours yesterday. I had forgotten how time just evaporates when you're up in a game.

This game is awesome. I d/l'd the extra stuff and have been battling the elusive Yeti all weekend. For real, though, this game has me planning a trip to Nepal/Bhutan/Tibet with a glacier trek.

So I got Super Mario Maker for the Wii U. Great googly moogly what an awesome game. This is what my 10 year old self wanted all along and now it's here. You can create super mario levels from lots of different palates, including Super Mario Bros, SMB3, Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros Wii, etc. This is one game for which the Wii U screen is perfectly suited, as you drag and drop your game elements to your level with a stylus on the touch screen-- awesome interface. The online option is the best b/c it makes for endless content. You can play other people's creations or just download them outright. There are some sadistic fools out there. A+

This is the first thing that has seriously made me want a Wii U. I love the fact that you can use palates from most of the Mario games in existence... just something awesome about seeing the original Super Mario for the NES in a new setting. I love finding YouTube videos of people attempting to beat levels with microscopic clear rates. It was a good decision by Nintendo to require level creators to beat their own monstrosities before submitting them for others to play, because otherwise we'd be flooded with impossible crap.
