Spoiler for Ending of ME3:
I'll start with the big problem with ME3. The ending is disappointing. It seemed very forced, out of nowhere, and had a lot of flaws. I do think the ending is better if the theory about Shepherd experiencing indoctrination is true, but even that theory just doesn't make sense. After all the claims that choices will matter in how the game ends, it ended up being a choose your adventure that really had nothing to do with what you did up to that point. I had no problem with the fact that it isn't a happy ending, I actually think a happy ending wouldn't have fit either.
As for the overall story, it did work up until how they actually ended it. Mordin dying actually made me somewhat sad as he was easily my favorite character in the series. Bioware did a good job creating emotion in the game.
Despite the flaws in the ending, I do think this is the best game in the series. ME1 was easily the best story in the series and created a great universe. It also was overly clunky with the RPG elements. ME2 was the best characterization in the series and the interactions with your squadmates was fantastic. However, the game was too stripped down as an RPG.
ME3 found a nice balance with the RPG elements between ME1 and ME2. Combat was refined and I enjoyed the improvements. In particular the game works better playing as a Adept. The quicker cooldown on powers by having light weapons allowed for creating lots of biotic explosions. You can play as a adept and rarely even fire your gun. Running around throwing singularities, warp, and throw with Shepherd and Liara was a hell of a lot of fun.
Despite the bad ending, it is the best video game series that I've ever played.

) but saw that it was rated "T" for Teen and mentioned "sexual themes". What kind of sexual themes are there in a Star Wars game? Is this something that would be inappropriate for me and my 14 year old son to play?
