We ended up getting almost 6 inches of snow on Friday night. We took the kids to a play at the local community theater that night. A couple of dozen cars along the way had slid off the road on some small hills. We have some Queen palm trees in our back yard that apparently aren't designed to hold that kind of weight. Close to half of the fronds snapped off, despite me knocking the snow off of them at 11:00 that night.Comment
