There are a lot of these where I think that the label on the submit button, “Make Guess” is so appropriate. Like the year on the Helsinki Subway, there was probably a 25 year range that could have been correct based on clothes only, especially in a European country. Sometimes its a WAG.

9881 - 1 yr, 3.1 km, Nice of them to include the flag. I jut dropped a pin on Taipei and picked 2020.
9545 - 0 yr, 88.7km, was between 1968 and 1988. Decided on 1988 even though the architecture looked closer to 60s so went with old soviet block.
9991 - 0 yr, 446m, IRA means Dublin, looked at ties and collars and thought late thirties.
9913 - 1 yr, 1km, I actually started on 1982 and moved it at the last second losing points. Language looked scndanavian but weird, so picked Finland.
9950 - 1 yr, 24m, I forgot that we didn't actually start sending troops until 1918. Hats on the gents helped push me to WWI instead of WWII. NY library made location easy.

I guess hard is based on perception and life experience and luck. I think I only got 26k yesterday, was so mad about it that I didn't post. Everyone else seemed to be high 30s to low 40s.

Glad I wasn't the only one. So you could make out the year? I couldn't make it out. I think there's a resolution difference on my work computer.

Yeah, I just pulled up that Lithuania picture on my phone, and I can read out the 1988. I've obviously been handicapping myself by using my work computer. Even when I copy the picture into another program to zoom in, it just doesn't have the same resolution as my phone. I wonder why that is.

I got 34k today. Bleh. Those black and white photos jacked up some of my years (except the one that says 1988 on it) and had me second guessing. My locations were pretty spot on but I got a big old goose egg on more than one year.
