It's not, considering they have had such an issue getting a quality QB in there. With the discontinuity on offense and always changing coordinators, it's probably what I would do as well.

You might be seeing the same at BYU with Sitake.
Maybe, but BYU doesn't have problems recruiting QBs like Utah has. New group of guys though, so we'll see.

Starting rushing stats were pretty similar, but Booker was also one of the leading receivers on the team, with most of his catches being as the hot receiver. Williams was ineffective as a receiver.

My point still stands. Booker made Utah's offensive line look better than they are.

Who won the game on Saturday? How did they win it?
Who won seven of the last ten rivalry games?

I want to see a picture of Linehan after that dirty Ute cheap shot. The slow mo on TV was funny as he was lying face down with his hands extended up in a wtf position.

No, Utah's offense was better when Booker played. That you don't recognize it shows how little you know about Utah's season.

Based on what I saw on Saturday, it certainly couldn't have been any worse with Booker.

Max Hall stepped in without even a hitch.

Jake Heaps shows some promise as a freshman QB. He improved over the season. Anae is gone and BYU has a clusterfuck at QB for the 2 seasons he is gone.

Anae comes back and has a great talent in Taysom Hill. He installs a system that maximizes his skill and talent. Hill has a good season in 2013. 2014 Hill is incredible and gets hurt. What does Anae do? He brings in a pocket passer, adapts the system, and has success with with Christian Stewart.

2015. He losses his QB again and Mangum shows promise and plays well in Anae's system.

I'd be really disappointed to be losing Anae if I was a BYU fan. Since Lavell Edwards left, you have had struggles with QB with the exception of when Dr. Bob was there and Doman's senior year.
Completely agree regarding Anae. If he were a bit more likable I think he would have been the HC. BYU fans that complain about Anae are usually dead wrong.

I agree it couldn't have been worse, but I can say with confidence that it would have been better.

Look, I like Anae as well. Ideally it would be best if Sitake was able to somehow retain him. You mention his strengths, Utah has always been able to take advantage of his weaknesses. He's not a schemer. He wants you to do your assignment and beat your man, and he values execution over changing what he wants to do.

I like him and wish he'd have liked to stay but I understand why he wasn't considered for HC.
