Again, the answer is in the middle here. Utah's offense sucks even with Booker. Utah's offense is better with Booker. I'm also sure as hell not going to blame that debacle for 3 quarters on injuries though. We need to finally fix this damn offense. We don't need a great offense. We don't need a good offense. With our defense, all we need is a mediocre offense. That is all I'm asking for, mediocre offense. It isn't took much to ask.

Hell, at this point, I would settle for below average.

You need a qb. Whit has yet to recruit a good qb. The skill positions you can find talent in the jc ranks. Utah needs to find a quarterback.

Every year I hear that you finally found one, whether it be, Tyler Shreve, Travis Wilson (elite 11!), Connor Manning, Brandon Cox (black guys always get ute fans excited), Donovan Isom (see Brandon Cox), and now this kid Tyler Huntley (black and from Florida, double whammy!).

I keep hearing that, but Whittingham seemed genuinely pissed after the game that Utah couldn't put any more points on the board after scoring 35 in the first quarter. If they took their foot off the pedal, it seems he would have acted like things pretty much went according to plan.

In both the halftime and post-game interviews, Whittingham expressed his frustration with Utah's inability to move the ball and score. There was nothing in his comments to suggest they were on cruise control for the rest of the game.

Oh please, this is absolutely ridiculous. Of course Utah wanted a blowout, but what Utah did after being up 35-0 to BYU doesn't even begin to resemble the Oregon game. Yes, there was a concerted effort to throttle things down and go conservative.

BYU has a better defense than Oregon. Utah isn't going to take the risks against BYU that they did against Oregon and it showed in the play calling. Utah was still throwing out trick plays, misdirection, and pretty much everything in the playbook against Oregon.

Also, a 35 point lead is pretty damn safe against BYU. The same cannot be said about Oregon. Oregon's offense is much better than BYU.

yeah a reverse, where I think they may have been contemplating a pass out of, a fake punt and going for it twice on 4th certainly weren't evidence to help plead your case.

Its amazing that a team can go from the #1 pick in the draft at QB, throw a back up in to the NFL like Ratliff, have success with a 17 year old Brian Johnson. After that it was all down hill.

Was BJ an Urban recruit or Whit? Was he in the last class right as urban left?
