This thread continues to amaze. I'm further convinced that neither Topper or Douger know the first thing about football.

BYU adjusted after some really crazy bad luck. The way they picked themselves up after that and adjusted isn't just because the players decided to not roll over. The coaches did their job and the combination put BYU in a position to possibly tie the game. I don't agree with all of Anae's game calls (especially a third down draw play in the red zone and all deep routes on third and short) but he did a good job adjusting and taking advantage of what Utah was doing. The defense got put in bad spot after bad spot but they played great football for over three quarters. The stunts and blitz packages that kept Utah on their toes weren't called by the players, it was Bronco sending those in.

I've been monitoring CB and frankly it's disgusting the way many are going after Bronco. Their criticism is in no way based in reality or any type of sound football knowledge.

How many near interceptions did Mangum throw in the 2nd half? There seemed to be a lot defenders in the passing lanes on a lot of those plays.

Lots. We should have had two more interceptions, at a minimum.

Great point! Nobody is talking about how outside of the first quarter, Utah had absolutely shitty luck generating turnovers. I can't believe Utah was able to overcome that bad luck to win the game. Hats off to my Utes!!!
