All of this is probably for not. Whittingham will stay and Utah, he will make a run at one of BYU assistant coaches, and BYU stays at the status quo. This whole thing has been a joy to watch. A couple of my Ute fan friends have been all over the place with these rumors. They like Gary Anderson more than Whit (which is weird because he is a defensive minded coach who makes questionable late game decisions). One friend thinks that Utah will win 10+ games next year regardless of who coaches due to the whole 16 returning starters.Comment
