This CB source sounds pretty convincing.

And here is what I was able to gather from them today. Keep in mind, it is after Christmas and the info I've received is while they were drunk on sweets and Christmas dinners.
So the rumor that Kyle may be leaving Utah to come coach at BYU is true. He and Bronco had dinner last night with Tom Holmoe and according to my sources it all went better than expected and it seems they may have reached an agreement where Kyle will be named the assistant coach and run the defense until Bronco retires (in a couple of years) in which case Kyle will become the head coach. Kyle has even agreed to participate in the Firesides, saying, "it is the right thing to do for a program such as BYU."
It gets better though and many of you will be surprised to know that there are about 10-12 Utah players considering transferring to BYU with Kyle. Half of them are starters and in initial talks have agreed to play without a scholarship so it won't count against BYU's total scholarships for this upcoming year. It also sounds like a few if Utah's recruits are now looking into BYU because of the potential coaching changes at both school.
The best news though is that Andy Reid has also been in contact with BYU as of late and has impart agreed to come on as the new head of BYU football operations as soon as the NFL season is completed. He let Tom know that he is done with the NFL and looking to make Provo his home for family reasons which I think we all can understand.
They also told me that BYU has recently picked up a huge sponsorship with a multimillion deal worth millions of dollars for the program. The sponsor is from the Ultimate Fighting Championship and is based largely in part because of our brawl at the end of our bowl game. Apparently they saw something in our program that they liked and decided to make a deal with us before someone else did. The details of the deal are still being worked out.
And finally, even though my sources are part of the football program they let me know that they have very good reason to believe that BYU's basketball team will beat Gonzaga by 10-12 points today. When I pressed them further on the matter they became very tight lipped and said they shouldn't have said anything and wouldn't give me any further details.
Well, that's what I know from my very trusted sources. Do what you will with it CB but please remember, I'm just the messenger.τὸν ἥλιον ἀνατέλλοντα πλείονες ἢ δυόμενον προσκυνοῦσιν

lol. Another job offer that Whit will turn down.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Whit knows that you don't turn down callingsOriginally posted by myboynoah View Postlol. Another job offer that Whit will turn down."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
