    LSU-Wisconsin and A&M-SC.

USU-Tenn might be an interesting game. Last time USU went into the south they almost beat a bad, but talented, Auburn team. I'd like to see the Aggies pull one out in Tennessee.

I'm interested to see what happens in Penn State-UCF. That should be a good game. Also A@M and South Carolina, Auburn-Arkansas, Boise-Ole Miss. I would love to see the Aggies take out the Vols. I would smile for a week if that happened.

I'm a big LSU fan this week. Wisconsin needs some comeuppance for stealing all of those good, mormon, Utah polys to the hellish ice north.

If their coaches are not incompetent, I wonder why Whit keeps replacing them every year.

Good point about Arizona. They are not very good, and Utah can't keep up even with them. It saddens me. And though I predicted it on this site (or, rather, cougaruteforum), much to the chagrin of Utes everywhere, here's to a quick turnaround!

I don't think there is such a thing as a "lucky coach". Oregon has made some very good coaching hires and built that program. Nike money may help with an expanded recruiting budget and neon uniforms but the Ducks continue to be successful because they win with effective coaching and good recruiting. It's not beating out Oregon St. for a recruit, it's beating out USC.

Nebraska is successful because it recruits nationally - a stellar year for Nebraska is when they sign four in-state recruits. The remaining 80% of a recruiting class comes from Texas, California, Florida, midwestern states, etc. I don't think it's accurate to state that Nebraska built its reputation by "feasting upon a bunch of no-names". Over the last 25 years of the Big 8, those "no-names" include Oklahoma which was ranked 20 times, Colorado ranked 11 times, and Missouri, Oklahoma St., Kansas St., and Kansas all of which finished ranked multiple seasons. Their non-conference schdule over that time included UCLA (7 games), Arizona St.(5), Washington(2), Alabama(2), Auburn(2), LSU(2), Florida St.(4), Miami(2), Penn St.(5), and Texas A&M(3); that doesn't include bowl games. And during those last 25 seasons in the Big 8, Nebraska either won the national title or played the team who won the championship 13 times - over half the time.

Here are the conference records since Nebraska stated B1G play in 2011:
                    Ohio St: 19-5
                    Michigan St.: 18-6
                    Nebraska: 17-7
                    Wisconsin: 16-8
                    Penn St.: 16-8
                    Michigan: 15-9
                    Iowa: 11-13
                    Northwestern: 9-15
                    Minnesota: 8-16
                    Purdue: 7-17
                    Indiana: 5-19
                    Illinois: 3-21

Nebraska has played well in the B1G during their first three years. Especially considering their conference schedule included a cross-over game against Penn St. every year and games against Wisconsin and Ohio St. the first two years (in addition to playing Michigan St. and Michigan every year).

We're on it. USU plays at Wisconsin in 2017. We're going to send along some tips on "how to handle traitors" to the Aggies.

My buddy who's a big OSU fan isn't real hopeful for his team this year. He thinks they'll be a lot better next year, but feels like they could lose four or five games this year.

There's no need to worry about these kids who would have just gone to Arizona State or BYU if they didn't go to Wisconsin.

aTM South Carolina tonight will be great!

Are there any other games tonight that will be on national TV and of local interest? Something akin to tomorrow night's BYU game on ESPN during prime time or Utah State's game against Tennessee on Saturday?
