I think Gunther with a guy like Checketts or Parks would be pretty good. Monson needs to get the hell off the air. He drags down anyone he's paired with. I have no idea how that guy has lasted this long on the air. It's especially a problem now as neither he nor Checketts really has the understanding of football to talk football. As someone else said, I think Checketts is decent, but he needs to be paired with a guy like Gunther that knows his stuff and is entertaining.

I think Tony Parks isn't bad. Again, he has some opinions that people will disagree with, but he's not an idiot and really is pretty prepared. But, again, he's paired with an imbecile. He needs to be with a guy like Gunther.

Gunther is a big personality and knows his stuff. He's entertaining. But he does need someone to rein him in and keep him on topic. His show was the first time I have ever listened to Kevin Graham and not hated every second of it. Graham did a good job of keeping Gunther on topic and Gunther did a great job of putting Graham in his place and setting him straight.

Hans is great when it comes to football but really struggles when the topic is anything else. Otherwise, I can listen to him and Riley talk football.

Riley Nelson at least adds some insight. Not a fan of his cohost the little bit I've heard of them.

BYU fans throwing objects at referees could face charges, police say

PROVO — The BYU fans caught on tape hurling garbage at referees following Saturday's rivalry game against Utah could face charges, police said Tuesday.


Brigham Young University Police Department Lt. Arnold Lemmon said investigators are reviewing the viral video that gives a low angle account of the pelting the refs took at Lavell Edwards Stadium, along with various other angles supplied by campus police cameras inside the stadium.

He tried. BYU dropped a couple. It's a snowball effect. He throws one, gets off his game and it effects him.
