    I'm pretty sure he's talking about 2002, not 2003.

I thought the Whalen injury was in 2002. I remember him trying to play and then leaving at halftime. But that is a long time ago, and I was drinking a lot of rootbeer that season, so it's kind of a blur.

My memory must be going. I remember Whalen ripping off what would be a TD run in the 2002 GT game and then putting the ball on the ground, but Cougarstats says otherwise.

Cougarstats also says BYU's in its death throes so take that with a grain assault.

            • We did fumble a lot under Crowton, epecially in 2003. But it wasn't Curtis Brown. He is one of the more sure-handed ball carriers we have had.

For all intensive purposes it means the same thing.

BTW, a quick search of CS will reveal that this is a long-running joke. Try and keep up.

In fact, it might of been used by somebody just the other day.

                      • How much does this game mean to Kwhit and the utes? Since they started playing in September, Utah is of course 3-0 against BYU but they are 0-6 in the games the week before and week after.

The question is BYU fans do you take that if it means beating Utah?

                        • Utah should go independent like BYU so that Whit can stop worrying about his conference record.

He must be the only one worried. Everyone else is giddy with the progress the uofutah is making this year.
                            Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I laugh, but ute fans probably don't care much these days anyway as they seem to be much more PAC12 fans than they are ute fans.
