People can piss and moan about all the dropped passes Hill's had, but it pales in comparison to our defensive drop rate.Originally posted by Sizzle View PostHe tried. BYU dropped a couple. It's a snowball effect. He throws one, gets off his game and it effects him.

We have dropped so many. There were 2-3 in the UVA game. Another 2 IIRC during the Utah game. Another 2 against MTSU.Originally posted by Indy Coug View PostPeople can piss and moan about all the dropped passes Hill's had, but it pales in comparison to our defensive drop rate."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

I don't understand why everyone was on Wilson's tip last night and this morning in local media. Dude had a QBR of 15. He forced balls. And despite what Petros and that other dude were saying last night he was late and high on a number of throws. He had 6 pickles and everyone seems to be trying to say many of them weren't his fault. I think all but the one that got tipped up by his receiver were his fault. The others were plays that the defense made or straight up errant throws. I don't get it."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

BTW, Wilson should have had 2-3 more picks in that game. The TD to Fitzgerald went right through the UCLA player's hands. There was the PA pop pass to Murphy over the middle that was an easy pick that the LB just missed."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

BYU is 3rd from last in total turnovers forced for the season with only 3.

Sure, but by that same logic you could say he had a number of passes that should've been caught that weren't. It goes both ways. Wilson has all the tools to be a very good QB in the Pac 12. If he can cut down on the mistakes, he'll get there.Originally posted by Surfah View PostBTW, Wilson should have had 2-3 more picks in that game. Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Interesting team ranks for BYU: Offensive YPG: 21st. Offensive PPG: 81st. Total d: 23rd. Scoring D: 27th. Turnover differential: 118th. Definitely tells the story of BYUs struggles.Originally posted by Indy Coug View PostBYU is 3rd from last in total turnovers forced for the season with only 3.

BYU has been consistently average to slightly above average the last 3 years (ranked between 39th and 58th) in forcing turnovers.Originally posted by USUC View PostIsn't this the same for the past three years as well? Can't remember the last time BYU consistently created turnovers.
