BYUtv is absolutely awesome for BYU fans. I wonder though on a given Saturday when BYUtv has BYU vs Idaho St. and the Big Ten network has Purdue vs Penn St. which gets the larger viewership?Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostRemind me how many football games BYU had on BYUtv last year? Thanks in advance.
Is there anyway to find out?

Lets compare apples to apples. How about when Purdue plays Indiana State and BYU plays Idaho State?
BYU had 1 game on BYUtv this year, the rest of the games were on national networks that receive more viewers than the Big 10.*Banned*

Is there a country song out there that would encapsulate the offseason?"Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

Maybe Cedric Dale wants to be an engineer. Purdue is a Big 10 school with a good academic reputation. And you can bang. I'm not sure why anyone is surprised by this."Sure, I fought. I had to fight all my life just to survive. They were all against me. Tried every dirty trick to cut me down, but I beat the bastards and left them in the ditch."
- Ty Cobb

A conference network buried within hundreds of channels no one bothers to check is like claiming games on BYU TV are worldwide exposure. Technically true.Originally posted by Paperback Writer View PostI'll just add that Purdue was on TV plenty in 2013 with games against Notre Dame and Wisconsin (sound familar?) as well as Nebraska, Michigan St., Ohio St., and Penn St. In fact, every Purdue game in 2013 was televised including games against Indiana St. and N. Illinois. Purdue may be a terrible team playing in a weak conference with many problems to correct, but TV exposure is not one of them.

BYU played Texas the same day Purdue played Indiana State. Who do you think had more viewers?Originally posted by byu71 View PostI know and you have your head up your ass half the time so that makes us equal in my opinon.

BYU vs Texas by a long ways. I am surprised you even need to ask. Any dipshit would know that.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostBYU played Texas the same day Purdue played Indiana State. Who do you think had more viewers?
I think I asked a reasonable one. I think more watched Purdue vs Penn St. instead of BYU vs ISU, but don't know sure.

Well the good news is Fred Warner cancelled his USC visit and reconfirmed his commitment to BYU. Other than that BYUs class is looking slim.
I would still be happy if we landed Kurtz, Blackmon, Warner, Cook, Bushman, Fuga, and Fonua. Those are solid players.
Dye and Chambers could contribute. I actually like Mariner.
Pauu looks terrible and rumor is we pulled his offer. For a kid only 260 pounds, Herring looks very slow.
Courtland Sutton and Jordan Schuleter would be very nice additions.
Also lots of rumors about Nacua being back in on BYU.
We can still salvage a solid class, but it will not be as good as I hoped.*Banned*
