Yea, but not surprising with some kids. Odds would tell you that. Just like some of the "Mr Jones we want you to commit to Baptism next week" actually think about it when the spirit leaves and change their mind.

I'm hearing Oregon for Nacua. Too bad. Will Bronco pull the offer prior to his announcement?

If it's Oregon, then maybe hold tight due to the recent sanction news.

Can those even be considered sanctions?

I agree, but maybe a "clean" program matters to this kid. Then again, maybe not. I don't know him.

Exactly. In fact I would continue to act as if he intends to still come to BYU. BYU still has to have a better than average shot. His dying father asked him to go there and his older brother plans to play there. They might lose him to stars in his eyes, but this is not a situation where BYU has lost all leverage.

In fact I still think he ends up at the Y. When push comes to shove his mother and older brother will have enough influence. I do think that this would be a good year for BYU to be a solid top 20 squad by winning 9 or 10 regular season games. That would help...a.lot.

I worry less if he is going there for a camp than if he is going there for an official campus recruitment visit. But I would be lying to say I was completely without worry.

                            Another '15 commitment.

BYU picked up a commitment today from Will Sedgwick, and linebacker from Laguna Hills, CA. He will be part of the 2015 class.
                            i don't think there's a '15 thread.

I'm encouraged by the uptick in talent both committed and seriously interested in BYU right now. I hereby resign as SPP Treasurer (the parties were boring anyway).
