    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Canzano is pretty plugged in to the Oregon teams and the PAC in general. I know this is probably a “no duh” type of report, but Canzano is one that I wouldn’t doubt has inside info.

Right, but I’m pretty sure that every team in the ACC and PAC12 would choose the Big10 over the Big12. That’s a no brained. Unfortunaley for Oregon they don’t seem to have that choice. Looks like they are either staying in the PAC12 or moving to the Big12.

The loose affiliation with the ACC is funny. So basically they are creating the p5 (little p) where the winner of that championship game hopefully gets into the final four playoff. Hopefully there’s a contract this time instead of a pinky promise.

What are the chances Clemson and some other ACC schools bolt when the GOR are up? Is it 100%? Maybe Utah can squeeze out another decade or so of PAC12 money before it all really blows up.

$30m seems like pocket change... There is not a huge financial incentive keeping ND in the ACC.

LOL... TCU thinks they will be going to the B1G with ND:

The SEC already controls the DFW area. Maybe the Big10 wants the 302 acre campus footprint, of course a good portion of those students are probably UT fans.

One thing about realignment, it illustrates how delusional most fans are.

I just am amazed that folks can have strong opinions. I don't even know what the optimal conference size is anymore. I have no clue what these conferences are looking for or how it will all come together. I just look at USC and UCLA in the Big 10 and feel stupid because I think it is so basically stupid for two LA schools to be affiliated, in all college sports, with the Big 10. I am assuming there is just so much I don't understand, but how the hell will baseball and softball make this work? It is just ludicrous. The only logic I can find compelling is SC and UCLA admins both believe that football will be uncoupled from the athletic departments and they want to be positioned for the inevitable big conference football split from the NCAA. But for the next few years I think this could cause many of their olympic sports to suffer.

Yet again, I am puzzled why fans think this will happen. Why would they split? Do you honestly think if the two big conferences said "make this change or we leave the NCAA", that the other schools wouldn't go along? Help me understand the logic here.

I clearly don't really know what they want. I think they will just eventually find the NCAA and its rules a nuisance and just leave-but I have no clue what is going to happen.

I still cannot get my head around UCLA and USC joining the Big 10. I understand they will get more money, but it is just so unwieldy that I cannot get my head around it.
