Any thoughts (from PAC or anyone else) on the best way to get tickets for the BYU/Cal game? I'm browsing ticket sites, but I'm wondering if the DDD method is feasible.

This game is a very unique sporting event, unlike all other sporting events. It requires a totally different approach to ticket purchasing. Throw everything you know about buying tickets out the window for the Kal BYU game. PAC and other locals will confirm this so I'm glad you asked them for their opinions. I strongly recommend buying tickets early because the odds are very high that there simply won't be any tickets available on the day of the game. I wouldn't risk it. Way too much downside. Buy now....scalpers, stub hub, athletic departments....whatever you can get your hands on, do it. If not, don't come crying here that you weren't warned and that you had to sit on Tightwad Hill to see the game.

This might be the only away game I make it to this year. My brother and I are thinking we might fly in Friday morning and play 18 that day. Depending on the time of the game, we may play 18 on Sat as well.

We'll gladly hook up for a round with any CSers interested in playing.

Work will take me to Alabama in a few weeks and I'm considering caboosing a football game onto the trip. Never been to a game in the SEC. Tuscaloosa and and Baton Rouge are both within reasonable driving distance and LSU and Alabama are both at home that weekend. If I could choose either, which venue do you recommend I see?

I would probably go to Alabama. I've always wanted to see Bryant Denney Stadium.
