I always put stuff in the cart that I'd like to get, but once I get to checkout, I put the things I actually need up there, see how close I get to the total I can actually afford, and then don't get the luxuries that I really want. Gotcha. Bravo to you for keeping to your budget. Good thing you don't call yourself a language professor.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostGotcha. Bravo to you for keeping to your budget. There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

So, my mom, after only 15 days, finally got back to me and agreed to watch the kids so we can go to the UVA game. Is anyone else going? We'll probably drive up to Wake Forest the night before, stay with my aunt and uncle, and then leave early in the morning for Charlottesville. We'll probably also turn around and drive back that night. But, it'd be fun to go to lunch and/or sit next to other Y fans.
Let me know and I'll look for tickets. I can get them and then whoever else is going can just send me a check for theirs and I'll mail them to them. Or, someone else can do it. I'm easy."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

I'm going to the UVA game. I'm headed out to Fort Lee this weekend to go to a school there, and happen to be there through the first week of September. So as luck would have it, I'll be around to make it to the game.
My brother's a prof. at BYU, and will be out there on some sort of business. I think it has something to do with schmoozing some of the donors in the Marriott School of Management or something. So he's got me a ticket. But if there are other happenings before the game, I'm game.

Just got my tickets and booked my trip for the Utah game. Doing my traditional 36 holes of golf with cousins the day before. I overpaid for the tickets ($64 each on stubhub), but there are three of us going to the game and we wanted to sit together. I am hearing cheapest single game tickets for the Utah game are $90? Is that right?

We paid $75 for ours on stubhub. At least that is what my bookie (Orangeute) is charging me.Originally posted by Omaha 680 View PostJust got my tickets and booked my trip for the Utah game.
