Thanks for the reminder. I just bought tickets from the UVA website @ $28 each for upperdeck endzone. This early in the season, it's tough to find them any cheaper. All the usual sites were still at face value.

So is there any kind of meet-up before the UVA game? I didn't see anything more in the Waa-hoo thread and didn't want to dilute the football talk with more event planning. I've got the fam with me so I'm limited in options, but would at least like to see some faces if possible. Also, is there anything else I should put on the to-do list in CLT-ville? We're probably just driving to Lynchburg on Friday and staying there to make the drive shorter after work and we might swing by Appomattox on the way up.I have nothing else to say at this time.

Anyone looking at roadies for this fall already? The schedule is a big downgrade from last year so there isn't a ton to get excited about. I only made it out to the Utah game last year as my Virginia trip fell through and I didn't make a real effort at ND.
This year the only obvious one for me is UCONN, but that's just because it's a 2.5 hour train ride not because I'm particularly excited about the opponent. I've never been to a Texas game but I probably won't make it down there. UCF might be fun and that's a good time to hit up the Disney parks along with every other BYU fan who makes the trip.

We'll probably go to UCF. Maybe to Middle Tennessee State---that's a very long drive to make in a weekend.Originally posted by Omaha 680 View PostAnyone looking at roadies for this fall already? My cousin is going to make the drive from Omaha for the MTSU game. I think he's nuts. Trying to convince him to come for a long weekend in NYC and go with me to the UCONN game instead.Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostWe'll probably go to UCF. I've got a friend that lives in upstate NY, and he called the other day and wanted to meet up for the UConn game. So, I'm thinking about that one. I don't really want to go to any of the rest. Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

I expect to travel to Berkeley on November 29, hopeful for an outcome similar to BYU's previous outing there. We'll host a tailgate, which will likely consist of leftover turkey.

Our going to UCF isn't going to work out (my mom may or may not be getting hitched), and the Middle Tennessee State game is November 1st, which wouldn't leave me time to get back home for my Day of the Dead activity the next day unless we flew which is too much dinero. So, no games this year."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.
