Also, recorded one of the 5 or 6 highest single game PERs in BYU history, which seems to give everyone around here a boner.

Also, BYU bowl record for completion %, TD passes as a true fresh.

And we pulled the plug on a knee-jerk reaction against Utah St and to win one more game on the season. It just seems short-sighted to me.

Don't forget it was against one of the worst bowl teams in history.

Not a lot. I think Matt Berry held a few of those records for his stellar QB play in 2002. Detmer held most of the others, even though he didn't get many (any?) starts as a redshirt freshman.

Ding ding ding!! Winner winner chicken dinner! I have felt this way since the one-on-one interview with Ty and Jake during media week. You could almost feel the teeth clenching when Jake mentioned breaking his freshman record. I don't think Ty had 10 games to work with.

Interesting quantification. If you keep those numbers, I would switch Bronco and Doman. This whole mess started last year when Bronco didn't have the cajones to take charge as a head coach and name a starter.

BYU has no business having an athletic program anymore. God and mammon, boys, God and mammon. These and future humiliations testify of this truth.

The basketball program looks promising. Sure, we are always subject to honor code casualties in any sport, but at least in the basketball department we have a coach that cares about winning.
