Oh and by the way, the non-AQ teams shouldn't be included in a playoff. Well there shouldn't really be a playoff at all, but that is a discussion for another time. Utah and TCU have taught us that the AQ conferences were right about how much difficult things are at the higher levels of competition.
Oh geez here we go. Please once again ask Louisville how hard it is to step up. Sorry that Utah and the 2 good seasons they have can't make the transition.

You act like they were beating up on mid-majors year in and year out.

An average mwc team will be a botton tier pac12 team. Didn't take Utah getting an invite to realize that.

Louisville didn't go to a good BCS conference, they went to the Big East. A top tier MWC team is at best a mid-tier Pac-12, Big-12, B1G, or SEC team.

If you don't like the Utah proof than rely on how far TCU has fallen. BYU would give you another great example, but they aren't getting into a real conference so I guess you won't get to experience the transition with your team.

By the way, you conveniently ignored the posts mocking the 4-5 claims. For example, there is this post.

What irony. BYU can't even beat Utah. Did you enjoy your game against Utah? against Wisconsin last week? That's what you would experience every week in the Pac 12. And this just goes to show you how much your wins over Houston et al. mean. They mean nothing. zero. Nobody cares. At least Utah has one win that matters and a chance to get another one this week. At least Utah has been in the game every week.

It really is fantastic to see the fanbase of the "original BCS busters" who were all about stinkin' it to the man transform into BCS honks and dutifully fall in line with the BCS rhetoric over the course of a couple seasons (or less).

By the way, here is cougjunkie's shining example of Louisville.

                    2005: 9-3
                    2006: 12-1
                    2007: 6-6
                    2008: 5-7
                    2009: 4-8
                    2010: 7-6
                    2011: 7-6

Here is your extremely difficult Big East in 2005. 2 ranked teams. 4/8 teams not even bowl eligible. 7th rated conference in Sagarin, just ahead of the MWC.

Big East in 2006: 6th rated conference in 2006. 3 ranked teams, but did have 3 top 15 teams. Bottom end of the conference was still garbage. It was much more like the MWC than a real AQ conference.

You mean being consistently rated the worst AQ conference when they arrived. You are right that is great proof against my point.

Comedy gold. Absolute gold. Wins against Texas, Boise, etc and a Utah state team we beat on the road by 17 points that Utah struggled and need an onsides kick in the middle of the 3rd to beat at home by 4. Yes, Utah beat BYU. I'm glad that game means enough that you can get up for it that you can piss away your conference games that obviously don't matter as much as your rival.

Since you're so well versed in BYUs schedule, please tell me what game they weren't in this year. TIA.

Sometime you just have to admit when you are wrong. 2004 might have been good enough with the NFL talent and a stacked coaching (Meyer, Whittingham, Andersen, Mullen, Gonzales, etc) staff to compete in a real conference. 2008 would have been somewhere in the 8-4 to 10-2 range in the Pac-12.

"A real conference". I love it. I will agree that it is easier to condescendingly downgrade every program on the outside looking in at the BCS than admit that that your program wasn't as good as you thought it was. It's the same thing the Washington States and Arizonas of the world do to console themeslves every fall.
