This thread is hilarious. Way to dismiss your 2004 and 2008 teams, ute fans. Good grief. Look, those teams would have competed just fine in the Pac-12. You're problem isn't lack of depth or the fact that you still have some MWC seniors, it's the fact that you don't have an effing QB!

Fascinating to watch. I remember the second Utah got the PAC-12 invite, SU started arguing that we should never abandon the BCS for a playoff system.Originally posted by The_Douger View PostThey've forgotten where they came from and how they too, used to kick against the pricks.
The funny thing is the circular logic.
"We should never allow non-AQ teams to be part of the system."
"Why not?"
"Because they can't compete at this level."
"Why not?"
"Because they aren't part of the system.""There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

I don't even think TCU is relevant to the comparison given how many guys got kicked out of their program for the drug scandal. Didn't they lose like 12 guys or something like that? Is my number high? Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

The thing we always need to remember is SU doesn't know anything about sports, so watching him talk about them is entertaining in and of itself.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostFascinating to watch. You guys lack reflection.Originally posted by Vic Vega View PostI think BYU would have more wins than Utah. You have scoreboard, but don't go crazy. That was kind of the point of my post too. Utah should be doing better than they are.
Is all the propaganda about how tough the Pac 12 is seeping in to coaches and players minds? Perhaps the whole program would be better off if you all talked about winning before a game rather than the reason why it's okay to lose. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

It was only about four football players. I think around 18 students total.Originally posted by The_Douger View PostI don't even think TCU is relevant to the comparison given how many guys got kicked out of their program for the drug scandal. Hey SU. Sorry to hear that that amazing Sugar Bowl win was a total fluke.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostYou guys lack reflection.

You know, we've done the mid-major 13-0 record BCS bowl champions get up for the big Sugar bowl game beat Alabama in the Sugar and lay claim to the theoretical NC thing. I'm glad we did it, it was a lot of fun, and it helped get us to where we are now. But it is what it is, and I'm glad we moved on and wouldn't change anything. I'm more than satsified with the past 15 years.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostHey SU. Sorry to hear that that amazing Sugar Bowl win was a total fluke.

What about West Virginia? They were good when they were playing in the Big East and their fans were burning couches all the time. I don't know if they have had a decent couch burning party this year.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostTwo teams with a 2-3 year stretch of mediocrity. Imagine that. Two teams!
Wait a minute. Boise State has fallen off as well. They aren't in an AQ conference. How can this be?"If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

2012 might be a top 5 TCU of all time. I mean 7-6 isn't great (although better than Utah at least they made a bowl game).Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostIt was only about four football players. I think around 18 students total.
One point loss to michigan st is as good as a win.
Ot loss to texas tech another win
One td loss to oklahoma, W!
