How does it feel to lose to a 1-6 Pac-12 team. It is cute that BYU fans think that they would do better if they weren't such a pain in the ass and could get an invite to the Pac 12 or Big 12. I guess we will never really know.

It's horrid, but one game against you doesn't mean that's how we'd perform there every week. It's cute you guys think that's the case, however.

I did a little research and it looks like Arizona, Cal, and Washington St. Have also only done it 4 times during the same time span.

There's one good reason Stanford may fall at USC today -- USC has better personnel. Southern California has it all, and those are great schools. California has 50% more population than Texas. USC has every right to expect what Alabama and Ohio State are getting now, and eventually it will get it again.

This is a fair point....There's one good reason Stanford may fall at USC today -- USC has better personnel. Southern California has it all, and those are great schools. And what you say about the long term hierarchy of the conferences is correct....our quarterback has for the most part just not been good enough to win...games. For example...SIX interceptions....blame the O line....completely worthless.......wildly unpredictable...

3D has been preaching for a decade that the major conferences are a lot better. Clearly he's right.

I understand the Schadenfreude fans of the byu must feel at watching a rival struggle in a new conference.
I also understand that when the Ute folks come over here, they are guests on the Cougars' turf and should expect some rough handling when rivalry issues surface.

But, let's not kid ourselves.
There aren't any Utes who would be willing to trade situations with the Cougars.
I know plenty of Cougars who would gladly switch with the Utes.

I'll freely admit I'm jealous of Utah's situation. In fact, I think BYU fans would be happy with the recent football seasons, but Utah's change in conference has made them want what Utah has, so many are unhappy. However, I don't see how the future looks brighter to someone when their team seems to be worsening as time goes on.
