i do, it is very in depth, overview, offense, defense, special teams, newcomers and overall analysis. The gist is this,Originally posted by OrangeUte View Postdo you subscribe? what does it say?
It will be harder to run and win in the Pac-12, but Utah should hold its own as the league as a whole is not loaded, and Oregon and Stanford aren't on the schedule this year.
We should know a lot about this Utah team early, as it plays at USC and at rival BYU in back-to-back weeks in early to mid-September.
It might take a while for Wynn and the offense to click, especially because Wynn is coming off an injury and didn't go through spring drills. The sooner the offense comes around, the better Utah will be. Don't expect a fourth straight 10-win season, but expect seven or eight and a more than solid first run through the Pac-12.

That Blue Ribbon preview has Utah winning 7-8 games...but finishing 4th in the in the P12 South.
I don't know how that's realistically possible.
Also, this might be spin or overcompensation, but at this point I'm not too worried about journalists/publications not talking much about Utah. Most of them don't give two licks about the teams outside of the program/conference/state they cover, so instead of speaking on a team they're unfamiliar with, they stick to what they know.Last edited by BoylenOver; 07-08-2011, 03:41 PM."I don't know the origin of said bitch booming."-Art Vandelay

They're just taking a page from Kansas in 2007. Play a Big 12 schedule that doesn't include Texas or OU and includes Nebraska and Colorado who are both down. If the Utes play their cards right, they will lose to USC and thus avoid playing in the CCG like Kansas did with their loss to Missouri. And then, wallah! - a BCS bowl invitation. It could happen. Scheduling can be key.Originally posted by Babs View PostAt least everybody's in agreement: the Utes have a decent shot at success because the league is down and they drew an easy schedule. :rockon1:“Not the victory but the action. You'll need to have patience with us, as we're new to this AQ stuff. No more ridiculous hoops to jump through, all to have the gracious and benevolent BCS offer our team a mere pittance, so as to seem that any team has a chance.Originally posted by Babs View Post
But the Utes have been to the BCS before! Twice! And yet the fans act like they need to backdoor their way in."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

Thanks, but we're not taking a page from anyone, just playing the league schedule put in front of us.Originally posted by Paperback Writer View PostThey're just taking a page from Kansas in 2007. I had no idea Paperback Writer was a member of the media. Regardless, I've heard no less than three of the Ute fans here say the same thing. You sure are easy to troll.Originally posted by Portland Ute View PostThe fans? Wasn't the latest tidbit that you commented on coming from some media source?

Babs is obviously trolling. It is obvious because she is not a BYU fan and because of that she has skipped right over the first step. The steps are are follows:Originally posted by Portland Ute View PostSo, you are on record admitting to being a troll?
1. Predict that Utah will not accomplish anything.
2. Argue that what has been accomplished is not significant.
3. 1984!
Babs went right to step two. The authentic BYU fans will not move off of one unless and until Utah is playing in the Pac 12 championship game, though if we beat them some of them will move off of one at that point.
