Right, so why should anyone pick up the regionals cause apparently the PAC will just let you overflow?

The way I read it the regional channels will be available only online. Not great, but I can make it work.

        Update from PAC-12 Facebook page:

DISH Network is airing our programming in standard definition this weekend to ensure that they’d be able to air today’s games, but they’re working quickly to deliver our coverage in HD - possibly as soon as next week. We’ll bring you the details as they come.

          This is kind of cool:

With $3M gift, University of Utah will build student center

The PAC-12 significance is that this building's completion will clear the way for the construction of a much better basketball practice facility on property now occupied by the HPER. Also, I understand that the current student activities center in the old Einar Nielsen Field House (which I really like and use when I am in SLC) will become the volleyball center and women's basketball arena.

This is a real stretch for inclusion here. You need to start a "UofU Keeping Pace with USU and UVU" thread.

Utah State and Utah Valley universities have their own student rec centers in the works. These projects also rely entirely on revenue bonds and private gifts. For all three centers, student fees will be raised to pay down the bonds, sparing taxpayers any of the burden.
Also, sounds like student fees will go up to pay for all of this.
              Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Looks like the Utes may be bucking the trend by scheduling cupcakes in the future as part of their non-conference. Then again, Utah isn't really in the same class as the big boys of college football, but they aren't a bunch of patsies either.

i like this trend. the first few weeks of the season are brutal as many of the matchups are just down right awful.

I just find it odd seeing Ohio State schedule these tough opponents and only getting 6 home games a year instead of 7 or 8.

I guess this fits here as well as anywhere. Here's a KSL story on the U's branding efforts.

Cool commercials. I noticed that the only football clips were from BYU games, but I'm sure that's just a coincidence. I would never dare suggest that the rebranding effort would also serve the purpose of marginalizing their biggest athletic and prospective student rival. Nope. That would be an outrageous and offensive suggestion.

Wouldn't showing BYU in the clips legitimize, rather than marginalize, BYU? Unless of course they showed the scoreboard in the background.

Please keep that quiet. I've already said too much and may lose my place in the conspiracy.
