Yes, I believe they're allocated 15 practices for spring ball. After that, it's back to the off season program.Originally posted by falafel View PostThey can work with them in the Spring, right? The Spring game and everything. I don't think its Spring yet, so they wouldn't be working with the players right now.

I've heard that DQE is running at both spots during 7 on 7s and that coaches are going to use spring to decide where to place him finally.
If I'm not mistaken Hadley has 3 to play 3 and Sampson has 3 to play 2. Not sure about Comer.Ute-ī sunt fīmī differtī

By both spots you mean field and boundary, or corner and safety?Originally posted by oxcoug View PostI've heard that DQE is running at both spots during 7 on 7s and that coaches are going to use spring to decide where to place him finally.

I really hadn't been thinking football at all, until I let my mind start considering a fall camp with Tuiloma, Rowley, Sampson, and Stout all being present. Not sure how many of those guys will actually be here in the fall, but it sure would be a huge boost to the defense if it happened.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostIs it football season yet?

I think even without a couple of those guys (Stout and Rowley in particular) we'll be just fine. Sampson and Tuiloma are a greater need IMO. Our defense will be very good next year. I'm excited for this unit. Our linebacking corp is stacked.Originally posted by BGRTHNUMEGO View PostI really hadn't been thinking football at all, until I let my mind start considering a fall camp with Tuiloma, Rowley, Sampson, and Stout all being present. I'm pretty sure Sampson only has 2 to play 2. He took this past year off which (if I'm not mistaken) still counts against his eligibility clock.Originally posted by oxcoug View PostI've heard that DQE is running at both spots during 7 on 7s and that coaches are going to use spring to decide where to place him finally.

11 offensive players about to explodehttp://msn.foxsports.com/collegefoot...l-level-021911WR Cody Hoffman, BYU
Last December’s New Mexico Bowl rout of UTEP provided a sneak peak of what to expect from the Cougars passing game over the next three seasons. Hoffman and QB Jake Heaps, a pair of first-year players, hooked up eight times for 137 yards and three touchdowns to finish first on the team in receiving yards and touchdown catches. A small-town recruit, with only one other offer from Sacramento State, it already looks as if a bunch of Pac-10 teams failed to properly measure his ceiling. At 6-4 and 205 pounds, he already has the size to outmuscle and play above opposing defensive backs. More important, he has the confidence of Heaps, which is going to make this a dangerous connection in 2011 and beyond. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Wow. Talk about an early candidate for BYU's most overrated player in 2011. Then again, games against six WAC teams will inflate Hoffman's numbers. But the 7-72-0 line against the teams that finished ahead of BYU in the MWC sure are exciting!Originally posted by MarkGrace View Post
