    sounds familiar

Unless there is a system where he doesn't get hit, I don't think the fumbles, interceptions, and inaccurate throws are going to stop.
I watched this game. I had the same reaction that I had when I watched Ron Powlus's first game way back in the 90s -- people are making a big deal about this guy? Really?

I had the opposite reaction the first time I ever watched Adrian Peterson and Michael Vick play college ball.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

is there a larger version of the dancing with the stars pic? I think it is funny.

I'm not impressed with Heaps yet but I have to say that I'm also not ready to write him off. He has now played 4 games under a system that emphasizes play action but his OC has consistently been calling very few running plays. Makes it hard to run play action. The only game where the OC called a reasonable number of running plays was against an excellent pass defense. The question is, how will he improve as the OC sucking variable becomes less of an issue. Doman is quite a way away from being good and Heaps is even farther but eventually I expect they will both be good.

Yes. Damning of Heaps, Doman, Cahoon and the WR's.

There were stretches of last year where when we'd get in the 25-40 yard range, I felt we had to score from there on a long play because they best we were going to do once we got inside the 20 was a FG. Unfortunately I still feel the same way a year later.

Same here. Locke is always throwing this stuff up on Twitter and there is no way to polish up these ugly offensive numbers.

I know those are bad stats, but he did have a pretty severe case of the flu in that game. He nearly didn't play.

I will say though that his stats were padded heavily by having possibly the best WR prospect in the Nation. Kasen Williams was incredible.
