What Moore does is incredible. He might move within a 5' radius but he usually avoids all pressure without happy feet. Occasionally he throws off a back foot, but right now he's one of my favorite players to watch. He's like Peyton Manning. His control and command of the offense is fun to watch. Which is exactly why I think an NFL team should take a gamble on him in the 2-3rd round (projected 3-6th), I know he's not that tall, and doesn't fit the NFL mold athletically like Andrew Luck, but he's the 75% the reason why Boise State is so good. Based on the play calling improvements, I think we have to revisit whether Doman can devise/call an offense that works for a QB that isn't a Doman clone. The early season (read preUSU) play calling and second half play calling against ISU lead me to believe some of Heaps's issues are Doman's issues.Comment

Doman isn't blameless but as was already pointed out, on any given pass play there are multiple receivers and Jake for whatever reason is locking in on one, often the one across the field and not down it.
