I'm hoping this is just BYU playing hard to get. Maybe the Big XII isn't giving in to their demands. This could just be posturing on the part of the Cougs. Hopefully Katz is just seeing the issues at hand and is trying to put 2 and 2 together. Nothing concrete has been said to Katz that BYU won't join.

If aTm leaves the Big 12 is over a barrell with respect to its existing TV contract for dropping below 10 teams. It has no choice but to fill the loss of aTm. BYU knows this.

So thanks for your perspective, but I think somewhere, somehow Bronco Mendenhall said something that you could break down, parse and then conclude his real essence of what he meant to say.
