BSU is the early favorite in both polls ranked ahead of Wisconsin.

Not even Boise State or TCU? They might not win the Big XII or Big Ten outright, but either team would be very close to the top.

(Actually, TCU needs to prove itself with a new QB this year so that would temper the outlook somewhat, but Boise will be very tough.)

Boise St. and TCU will be good teams this year and they have been good for quite a while. It's not a knock on either program but of difficulty of conference schedule. TCU proved it can defeat Wisconsin. What has not been proven is if Boise St. or TCU can defeat Wisconsin, Ohio St., Minnesota, Michigan St., Northwestern, Penn St., Michigan, and Iowa in October and November. Plus a conference championship game. Could TCU or Boise St. navigate enough wins in such a schedule to win the Big Ten? As you know, it cannot be proved or disproved. I used Nebraska's 2011 Big Ten schedule for reference.

According to a number of sources at the school, nearly everyone involved with BYU is looking forward to beginning play in the WCC and as an independent in football. The Cougars were waiting to get the chance to play on their own in football and once there was no chance they would be with Utah, which joined the Pac-12, they jumped at the opportunity.

That's why there is no movement, according to sources, to be a possible replacement for Texas A&M in the Big 12 if the Aggies go to the SEC. BYU is not an easy addition for conferences with its restrictions on playing on Sundays. The Cougars do have their own television network and a new deal with ESPN, and the football team has had no issues scheduling for the upcoming season. Sources said the Cougars want to see how this plays out before joining a conference such as the Big 12 that may have some stability issues.

you know what I mean. I think there are a number of Big 10 or Big 12 teams if they were placed in the MWC I would see them winning the MWC. Obviously, not all at same time.
