Did you guys catch the "yellow snow" post on CB? That BYU has an invite, regardless of whether A&M leaves?
I've never really understood why we need to be invited with a partner. At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

I would like to see Boise State invited so BYU could have a good end of the year rivalry game. In my perfect world the way the Big 12 goes is thus:Originally posted by ERCougar View PostDid you guys catch the "yellow snow" post on CB? That BYU has an invite, regardless of whether A&M leaves?

aTm leaves for somewhere.
Big 12 adds BYU, Notre Dame and Boise State.
Big 12 del norte: BYU, ND, BSU, KSU, KU, Iowa State
Big 12 dela sur: Texas, Baylor, Texas Tech, Mizzou, Oklahoma State, other inconsequential team that I forgot but I know there must be another to equal 12.Do Your Damnedest In An Ostentatious Manner All The Time!

Why would the Big 12 invite BYU now? As far as I know TAMU doesn't have an invite either.Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View PostHolmoe was once again on the radio saying there is no invite, so......
BTW, did Holmoe also say that the Big 12 hasn't even been talking to BYU? I suspect it is all talk at this point."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

That was his main point. Until he receives a call from Dodds/Beebe, we are happy were we are at.

If the Big 12 really could add Notre Dame, A&M may have to reconsider their departure, negating the need for a third addition.Originally posted by Sizzle View PostIf reports of Notre Dame and BYU both being offered are true, I think BYU accepts the offer no question. Adding in Notre Dame, BYU and a 3rd team would give the Big12 a lot of strength. TCU would be the best football program but not sure if they would want another Texas team. Louisville would be a good add in terms of Football and Basketball. But do they leave the Big East for the Big 12? Boise would be a top football school but not much else and is out of the way a bit.
Is there any way they could convince Arkansas to jump back from the SEC?"I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"

Even if he had been contacted, he couldn't say anything. If BYU starts blabbing about how the B12 has been talking to them, A&M will feel like they've been given permission to leave. I'm sure the B12 would still prefer to keep A&M at this point.Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View PostThat was his main point.
