We have played Stanford a ton of times since then, you big dummy.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostThis has nothing at all to do with why the Big 12 hasn't taken BYU. If it were about fan base, football history, the usual stuff, BYU would be a shoe in. The Big 12 will never invite BYU, and no play on Sunday is a perfect excuse.
I keep telling you guys that and I keep being proven right (the proof is in the pudding as they say, here the pudding being BYU's ostracization), but you won't face the facts. You had to stop excluding blacks from the priesthood and temple rites.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostWe have played Stanford a ton of times since then, you big dummy. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

I have given you guys a program for BYU becoming worthy of admission to a big 5 conference. If they say that, they are using it incorrectly. There is no proof in the pudding. Why would you look there for proof? The expression is the proof of the pudding is in the eating.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostI keep telling you guys that and I keep being proven right (the proof is in the pudding as they say, here the pudding being BYU's ostracization),PLesa excuse the tpyos.

I've lived most of my life in Big 12 country and am a short drive from Big 12 HQ, which incidently, is far away from Palo Alto, CA. The Big 12 already has Baylor and TCU - this may be news to you, but in the bible belt being religious is not frowned upon. I think the incompetence of Big 12 leadership is a greater factor than any reluctance to add BYU. Besides, the Big 12 is run by Texas and OU and both schools have played BYU recently.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostThis has nothing at all to do with why the Big 12 hasn't taken BYU. Or maybe Baylor and TCU have a bigger voice than I think (they don't) and hate BYU just as much as Stanford, but for different reasons. Sometimes it's hard to gauge who hates Mormons more: the Baptists in Waco or the atheists on the Farm in Palo Alto.“Not the victory but the action. Not the goal but the game. In the deed the glory.”

SeattleUte wont respond to this. He hates being made to look foolish on matters of intellect. I would like to thank SU, MP, and applejack for trolling this thread, and cosmically aligning BYU more towards Big 12 entry."Sure, I fought. I had to fight all my life just to survive. Moi? i don't remember trolling in this thread - conference realignment threads don't interest me until they have reached 500 pages.Originally posted by San Juan Sun View PostI would like to thank SU, MP, and applejack for trolling this thread, and cosmically aligning BYU more towards Big 12 entry.
Plus, we Utes don't believe in cosmic alignment.

So you submit that the Big 12 is the pudding and BYU's ostracization by the Big 12 is the proof? I think the meaning of proof in the pudding has evolved to cover my usage.Originally posted by creekster View PostIf they say that, they are using it incorrectly. There is no proof in the pudding.
