OK, I will share one more bit of inside information.....a post off a Clemson message board outlining new "emerging" details about Clemson and FSU to the B12. The post originated on May 3. And it had some pretty bold predictions in it....that have since come true!

However, much rumor and speculation has occured in the last few years with respect to conference realignment and expansion, so some degree of caution should be exercised until a formal annoucement is issued. With that said, our sources indicated representatives from Clemson and Florida State have been in Texas for meetings with the Big 12, and it's only a matter of time before a formal invitation is made to join the Big 12.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

I'm not sure I get all of these scenarios with random teams like Louisville. If the BIG 12 can get Florida State, why would they settle for Louisville? I'm sure there a few football "powerhouses" from the ACC that would love to come: Clemson, VaTech, Miami... Why all the talk about Louisville? Exactly when was Arkansas a member of the Big 12??? I realize some in Texas think that the SWC expanded to include the Big 8 while dropping half of the SWC in the process.
