I appreciate his effort. I only wish we had and affiliation with the Big 12 that ND enjoys with the ACC.

I think I might join you in Michigan. LA, no thank you. I've had enough smog for a lifetime. Being in the Big House, would be a lot of fun. Plus, for you, you could hit the casinos.

A reporter in Iowa and a football player for the Longhorns both are on record that they think BYU would be a good fit in the b12

Peterson covered an Iowa State basketball game against BYU in Provo last season and came away impressed.
"It was the first time I had been on that campus," Peterson said. "It was wonderful. It wasn't hard to get there. I would embrace it (BYU membership).
The University of Texas players at media days who played at BYU last season also came away impressed.
"Oh yeah, I think they would fit right in," Texas defensive end Cedric Reed said. "They have the exact style for the Big 12. The quarterback play is big-time. They throw and run, you know, they have mobile quarterbacks. I think they would fit right in."

This is good. Very good. We need more "buzz" like this if we want to have a prayer of getting in the Big 12.

IMO, BYU needs more "buzz" from ACC and SEC coaches whining about how it's unfair that the Big12 doesn't have to play a CCG. An answer to BYU's prayer for a Big 12 invite would come with a mandate brokered by the ACC and SEC that a conference has to play a CCG in order to get an auto invite into the playoff system.

Why would Louisville leave the ACC for the Big 12?

Seriously. Louisville is already in a big boy conference.

Bowlsby's myopia will wind up hurting our conference!

Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby has placed all his eggs in one basket on day one of Big 12 Media Days, but should be open minded

Commissioner Bowlsby needs to be a bit more open-minded when it comes to expansion. Let’s say a couple of years go by, and we see the lack of a conference title game hurting the Big 12’s chances of being selected for the playoff. Would he then explore expanding?
                            good stuff.

                              Jimbo sez: B12 is ridonk

During the ACC media day on Monday, Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher called the Big 12's lack of a conference title game "ridiculous." When discussing the possibility of the playoff expanding to eight teams in the future, he suggested conferences with a league title game are already participating in an additional playoff game.
"I think every conference should have to have one," Fisher told print media during a breakout session. "Not everyone plays the same number of games and does the same thing. I think it's ridiculous."
