If the NY Times is right and ND is looking to move non-FB sports to the ACC, that's fantastic news for BYU fans. FSU and Clemson aren't likely to move if ND brings non-FB sports to their league. Especially not to go to the Big 12 (which has to come after the SEC in terms of leagues they would want to join). If the Big 12 can't get those schools, it's left with Big East rejects, BYU and maybe even BSU/AFA (if they want a travel partner for BYU). Louisville just doesn't add as much. The Big 12 has made some geographic decisions with WV being added so they likely need another team from out east, but I could see BYU and Louisville being added this year if the ND report is accurate along with BSU/AFA.

Sweet. BYU to the ACC! They wouldn't leave their strategic partner behind.Originally posted by calicoug View PostIf the NY Times is right and ND is looking to move non-FB sports to the ACC, that's fantastic news for BYU fans. BYU will remain indy; their football program will die, and we'll finally land in a conference--the Big Sky.Originally posted by Viking View PostUtah to pac12 while pac12 maintains it is a "thinking person's" conference.

Football-only Big Sky. Thanks for clarifying. On the bright side, we'll get to rumble with the Montana schools, James Madison, and my personal favorites, the University of Maine and Delware for shots at national championships. Sweet ass.Originally posted by YOhio View PostIf the football program dies why would we still leave the WCC?Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.

http://cemetery-hill.com/2012-articl...principle.htmlAnyone tracking the private jets landing in Provo? An automatic escalator clause of $2 million per team added in expansion. This means if the Big 12 goes to 12 teams each team gets $24 million, 14 teams each team gets $28 miilion, 16 teams each team gets $32 million. This opens the door for it to be attractive for other teams to leave their conference and join the Big 12."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.
