The wheels coming off that 2001 squad is still a mystery to me. That was a good defense. Not one of our best, but very solid. Like you said, they absolutely shut down a very good Oklahoma team. Seeing Colorado run them over straight ahead was just mind-boggling. Miami was more understandable. That offense was stacked with NFL talent and no one was going to beat them.

I'll PM you some of my thoughts - 62-36 wasn't a mystery to me.

Based on my own personal experience through the years I don't have a high trust level for anything "BYU" says. I know they can spin with the best of them. Sadly that means when I hear a rumor like this even though it could be totally bogus, I wonder.
