ST. George newspaper columnist thinks that BYU's hope to go to B12 is not unrealistic. :rockon2:

that was from last month, i believe. Bronco stated outright that he wanted to join the B12. A few days later, the B12 clarified that they weren't interested. My guess is that the landscape has changed in the past couple of weeks, prompting this ST. George reporter to write his most recent opinions.Originally posted by jay santos View PostI heard an interview with Bronco on the radio the other day. Not sure if it was current or a repeat of an old interview. He was pimping BYU's qualities out to the Big 12. Man he sounded desperate. Sucks.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

This article from a couple of days ago seems to corroborate what the NCAA is tweeting. According to the article, the b12 is not expanding this season and BYU will continue being a football independent

Those little building icons represent schools who have a "say" and "matter." Schools such as Iowa State, Rutgers, Wake Forest, Utah, Pitt, and TCU are represented while BYU is not.

No worries. I will follow you whereever you go on this one. Frickin biggots. I know why we aren't in. It is because we stand for something loftier than winning football games. We would be a light on the hill and example of what college football should really be about.Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostSonsuhbitches got no rights to castigate God's Church for keeping the womenfolk downtrodden! I really get riled up thinking about how far we are from what college sports once were.

Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

Dick Harmon sez: BYU isn't in and b12 doesn't want to expand BIT if b12 changed its mind BYU could possibly be in for various reasons!

Interesting take. It sounds like BYU needs to make the best of their current situation while setting themselves up for advancement should the opportunity arise. Hope the powers that be keep that in mind.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostDick Harmon sez: BYU isn't in and b12 doesn't want to expand BIT if b12 changed its mind BYU could possibly be in for various reasons!

Sounds like BYU is trying to remind the Big 12 they want in and hoping that since it's in the media the Big 12 might buy in at some point. The schools like A&M, Maryland,WVU and Rutgers who were bold were the winners. The schools who waited(BYU) lost out.

"BYU" mentioned in an article about the b12
http://www.wvillustrated.com/story/2...hanges-in-2014
Rumors have surfaced of BYU and San Diego State being interested in Big XII membership, but the league has held true to its word after adding West Virginia and TCU on July 1, 2012: No more expansion is in the near future.
If you read the comments to the article, BYU is also mentioned at least once!Fitter. Happier. More Productive.
