Well, SDSU does have better home attendance than WSU. So there is that.
(BTW, where is SMU on this spreadsheet? They are in the middle of the 5th largest TV market!)

Both schools are pretty small for D1. TCU has a bigger stadium and more fans due to more recent success the last several years, although down last year. SMU basketball has had more interest and better fan support recently than football which never fully recovered since the infamous death penalty.
