I am guessing if this does happen it will be an unequal revenue shared in the PAC. Someone needs to ask on UteFans if Boise St is coming too.

The best part is the deadline. Why would there be a deadline? It will be announced when its done. There's no utility in a deadline like that. I think rumormongers just add that because it they think it adds legitimacy to their dumbass rumors.

I believe to leave the MWC, like in the next year, there is a deadline to make that election per the contract. I also think there is a huge exit fee. Like $30m.

Which part specifically is the lie? I don't see the contradiction.
Maybe SU is referring to this part from your link:
Twenty-one years later, Baylor University officials decided that the College should become an independent institution so that BCM could attract broader, nonsectarian financial support and gain access to state and federal funding.

So from the history SU quoted:
In 1969, by mutual agreement, the College separated from Baylor University to become an independent institution. This encouraged broader, nonsectarian support and provided access to federal research funding. The institution's name changed to Baylor College of Medicine.
And from part you just quoted:
Twenty-one years later, Baylor University officials decided that the College should become an independent institution so that BCM could attract broader, nonsectarian financial support and gain access to state and federal funding.
The twenty-one years later was 1969. It reads the same to me.
(BTW, where is SMU on this spreadsheet? They are in the middle of the 5th largest TV market!)

I'm no Texan and am too lazy to look any of this up, but I heard SMU is a larger school than TCU and with better game attendance. Now that the Patterson era burned out, I'm not sure TCU will attain the success they once had.

You need better sources. Google tells me that SMU averaged about 21K last year. TCU is more in the 45K range.

No one should ever consider SMU for their conference because Craig James went there.

Lol. I should have paid closer attention. I believe what I heard was SMU had a bigger attention body, but looking that up it's only like 1500 more students.

LOL... no. Patterson lost his job because TCU lost to SMU the first time in like forever. The SMU coach got his job.

Both schools are pretty small for D1. TCU has a bigger stadium and more fans due to more recent success the last several years, although down last year. SMU basketball has had more interest and better fan support recently than football which never fully recovered since the infamous death penalty. They have a nice stadium, I guess, but it's only about 35k seats.
