I'd forgotten about that. Not only does YO ruin things for BYU fans, he ruins things for the GOP. It's actually rather impressive the trouble one person can cause for so many.

I would guess that it takes more than just a majority vote. Probably 7 out of 10. It's highly unlikely that 7 out of the 10 schools would find a better conference for themselves simultaneously.

4 to the Pac is a possibility but which 3 would go elsewhere and be happy about the change? The ACC will be at 14 after adding UConn. A lot of dominoes would have to fall before that's a possibility.

It is in Utah's best interest to lobby for BYU's inclusion.

Colorado may never bounce back and BYU seems destined to lose to Utah every year.

Larry Scott likes to troll BYU fans as much as Utah does.

Boise State and San Diego State are possibilities. The two programs are currently in the Mountain West but slated to begin competing in the really new-look Big East next season.

“When we expanded in the past we looked at them because they are prominent schools in the West, with very strong athletics programs, in markets we are not in,” Scott said. “There’s a lot of criteria that we looked at last time, that I’m sure we’d look at again.
