The "Nebraska to the Big Ten this week" story is out of Lincoln, sourced back to a Nebraska official. Orangebloods has been off when it ventured outside of Texas to cite sources, as in when it reported yesterday that Colorado had an invitation in hand, a story you were all over.

If Texas is leaking them it has a different agenda than simply coming to terms wiht the Pac, inlcudng possibly arousing the SEC's interest or improving its position in the Big 12. Why would Nebraska be leaking they have a formal invite from the Big Ten and will be leaving on Friday? Why don't they just wait until Friday to tell the Big 12 they can all go to hell? Or are they trying to leave on somewhat good terms so Texas doesn't beat the living crap out of them this fall and give the Big Ten second thoughts?
