There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I believe Jimmer can stick in the league, once he is eventually cut/traded to a decent team, with a competent coach (did Smart not learn anything from The General?).
The uniform style the Kings wore last night, are perfect for this organization- they look like a motley fools.
Who convinced Jimmer to shave his armpits, his teammates or wife?

I probably have said it in this very thread but one of the coolest parts of that game was watching the guy a row down from us (I think he was a SDSU fan?) who kept score of all the games. Jimmer's row was almost a solid block of pencil lead by the end of the game.
And I am looking at my ticket for that game as I type this.

My other favorite part about score keeper guy was in another game, maybe Air Force?, he had a dispute on fouls that a player had. He was very concerned that the player was getting away with less fouls than he actually had!Originally posted by Clark Addison View Post

BTW, that is some pretty good pictorial evidence against cargo shorts, both in general and re: the actual use of the cargo pockets.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostMy other favorite part about score keeper guy was in another game, maybe Air Force?, he had a dispute on fouls that a player had. I attended that tournament with DDD (RIP!), neither of us were planning to attend and we missed the round 1 game. He had to be back Saturday night for some reason and I was sick with the flu. I woke up Friday morning and thought to myself no way am I going to miss this and decided to drive down by myself. I sent him a text message just throwing out the idea and he said he would be at my house in 10 minutes. We drove down, watched Jimmer drop 50, and learned some gambling tips from his fist pounding father in law. Right after the SDSU game we drove home.
A very memorable trip, that I am glad I made.*Banned*

If that's from the MWC tourney in Vegas two years ago, we may have been just a few rows from each other (assuming same side)."What are you prepared to do?" - Jimmy Malone
"What choice?" - Abe Petrovsky

That night was a tough ticket. As tough as I've ever seen at the TMack. What kind of seats did you end up getting on short notice?Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostI attended that tournament with DDD (RIP!), neither of us were planning to attend and we missed the round 1 game. Even as good as DDD is at finding bargains from scalpers, I'm willing to bet he didn't' get as good of deal as Clark did. We had 6 tix just to the left of HFN that night, and 2 others at mid-court 7 rows up. The upper seats were being sold in the $125 range, the premium tickets were going for >500/each.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostThat night was a tough ticket. Fortunately we had already secured tickets. A friend of mine purchased 16 of them through New Mexico. New Mexicos box office required local address and pickup, he paid a CBer that lives down there to pick them up and mail them. He only needed 4 and sold 10 of them the day of the game for a pretty hefty profit. When I called him after the first round game to tell him I would be coming down with DDD, he told me he had 2 tickets left and sold them to me at face value.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostEven as good as DDD is at finding bargains from scalpers, I'm willing to bet he didn't' get as good of deal as Clark did. We did price out tickets and it was insane how much they were going for. Our seats ended up being directly behind the fat kid wearing the head band with the "Jimmers Points" sign. Danny Ainge and Tom Holmoe were about 15 feet to my left.*Banned*

Kings are up on the Bulls, by almost 40 in the 4th qtr. Jimmer has played 5 minutes, and scored 5 points. I do not understand how Smart manages his minutes.

Well he brought the team all the way back in the previous game. That is an automatic Dnp. He finishes with 9 points in 11 minutes. That's right they beat the Bulls by 40 yet they still only played the bench 10-15 min.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostKings are up on the Bulls, by almost 40 in the 4th qtr. Hopefully his highlights hit youtube tomorrow he had a sick behind the back dribble while splitting a double team.
